A Little YCU Hiatus

23 Jan

Thank you for all of your love and support in this time of transition!

As mentioned in our previous post, we have decided to put the YCU blog on hold while we focus on our careers and education. We want this blog to be a constant source of inspiration and creative challenge, but we seem to be running out of hours in the day to dedicate to the blog. So therefore, we’re going to take a break for now an hope to be back some day soon when life leads us in this direction. So this isn’t goodbye but a see you soon. :)

In the meantime, please feel free to check out our personal blogs and follow us as we pursue our dreams both creatively and career-wise. Also, hop over to the blogs of our fabulous design team members to see what magic they are creating!

Thank you for your patronage, and we look forward to seeing you again soon!

So much love,
Marie and Britta

Challenge #17 Winner and Top 5

21 Jan

Hey all! We have our winner and top five ready to announce, but first, we have a little bit of news to share with you regarding the future of the Young Crafters Unite challenge blog.

We’ve decided after much deliberation to put the challenge blog on a hiatus as of this challenge. With Marie enjoying her job as a full-time kindergarden teacher and Britta heading back to school for one more semester, we’ve thought long and hard about the time it would take to keep the challenge blog running and to bring even more lovely crafters into our midst. As much as we’d both love to invest more time and energy into the blog, we feel the need to take a break from the challenge for a little while to focus on our bustling lives and budding careers.

This certainly isn’t goodbye forever and we hope to be back sooner rather than later to bring you more challenges, inspiration and fun than ever. We love you all so much and have been thrilled month after month to see challenge participation grow. Thank you so much for your support, and we’ll be back in a couple days with a post that explains where we’ll be during our hiatus and how to find us. :)

Thanks again for your love and support in this time of transition!

Love,
Marie, Britta and the fabulous YCU design team
